WHAT?
This is a pop-up series that showcases the talent of some of the freshest pizza talent the city has to offer. We scheduled 8 events, rain-or-shine, every Saturday from July 9 - August 27. This was a part of our larger Pizzaioli Pop-Up Series across the US.
The July events were scheduled at breweries in Long Island City, Queens and benefited The Connected Chef, a LIC-based food access organization. We were able to raise a total of $1,670 for The Connected Chef!
The August dates were scheduled at breweries in Gowanus, Brooklyn and benefited CHiPS (Community Help in Park Slope), a Park Slope/Gowanus-based organization that works to eliminate food insecurity and homelessness. We were able to send CHiPS a check for $1,085!
