FAQs
Where Is The $1 Pizza Party?
The event will be held indoors at the Church of St. Anthony of Padua at 155 Sullivan St. (at Houston)
Do I need tickets in advance?
No! There is no ticket required for entry. Just show up and purchase $1 tickets to be exchanged for slices, drinks, and desserts. The only tickets we sell in advance are skip-the-line VIPizza Passports.
What time is the event?
Doors open at 6pm and close when the pizza runs out. We recommend arriving early to get a good place in line!
What do event proceeds support?
All event proceeds support our Pie it Forward project, which sends pizza to hunger relief organizations like soup kitchens, shelters, and food pantries.
Will the pizza be hot?
Some pizza has traveled far while others come from a couple blocks away, so there is no guarantee the pizza will be hot. The logistics of bringing in ovens or hot plates isn’t possible at this time. We have shifted some pizzerias to later in the evening so pizza won’t be sitting around too long. We’ll have a few mobile ovens and pizza trucks at the event, so their pizza will be fresh.
Can I go through the room more than once?
In an effort to keep the line moving and serve more people, we do not permit multiple trips through the room. Please choose all your slices in a single pass.
Is there a limit to the number of slices I can purchase?
YES. In order to serve more people, there is a limit of 10 slice tickets per person. There are only two exceptions to this rule: VIPizza Passport holders may purchase unlimited slice tickets and the first 30 people in line (the most hardcore pizza lovers) will be allowed to purchase unlimited slice tickets.
