The annual Pizza Expo conference and trade show transforms Las Vegas into the world’s pizza capital but the public rarely gets a glimpse. This event grants you access to world-famous pizza makers from all over the globe and 75 minutes of unlimited slices.
It’s all happening on Monday, March 23rd from 4-6:45pm at Pizza Rock Downtown (right before Tony Gemignani's famous Expo kick-off party). We camped out with about 20 pizza-makers slingin’ pies. This is always great chance for pizza enthusiasts, visiting pizza makers, and Las Vegas locals to celebrate everyone’s mutual love of pizza.
This year we’ll be adding a new twist to the event; each of the stations will be honoring a different Woman Who Made Pizza History in celebration of Women’s History Month. All of the pizzaioli stationed together will be collaborating to make their own unique specialty pie that pays homage to a woman who altered the course of pizza history.

WANT TO DO SOME #PIZZA4GOOD IN VEGAS?
We’re looking for some awesome volunteers to help make the pizza magic happen at the Tailgate.
We welcome all volunteers 18 years or older and have a variety of roles perfect for people across a broad range of skill sets. We also welcome groups of volunteers from local companies (or companies in town for Expo) of up to 8 people.
New volunteers will be required to attend an onboarding session online prior to the event to bring them up to speed!

Is the Slice Out Hunger Pizza Tailgate open to the public? Absolutely!
Is there a special deal for Slice Out Hunger Pizza Partners? There is! All Slice Out Hunger pizza partners in good standing (those who have been in touch with us about how they’ve fulfilled their annual Partner Pledge toward local hunger relief efforts) have received a special invite for up to 3 complimentary tickets for one session. Final day for Pizza Partner RSVPs is Friday, February 28th.
Can I get tickets day-of? Yes! We will be setting aside a limited number of tickets for walk-up purchases at the party.
I won’t be in town Monday night for the party; where can I find Slice Out Hunger at Expo? We’ll let you know our booth number once it’s been assigned because you should definitely stop by! We have 4 brand new SOH-exclusive temporary tattoo designs (or maybe permanent if you’re feeling daring) this year for everyone!
