PIZZA RELIEF FOR TEXANS LEFT OUT IN THE COLD

In February of 2021, unprecedented snowstorms and consistent below-freezing temperatures left millions of Texans without power, heat, or running water for days on end. Already vulnerable populations were hit particularly hard.

So, we teamed up with Hormel Foods, pizzerias across the country, and locally-owned Texas pizzerias to provide a hot meal for homeless Texans and those who were still without basic utilities as a result of the storms. We were able to get pizza to emergency relief sites, homeless shelters, and soup kitchens in the regions hit hardest.

Pizzerias across the country donated a portion of the proceeds from their TX-inspired specials and then purchased the ‘za from locally-owned pizzerias in Texas (several of whom also chipped in pies!).
