PIZZA RELIEF FOR HURRICANE HARVEY SURVIVORS
Pizza Relief: Hurricane Harvey (previously known as Toppings for Texas) was our first Pizza Relief activation. Slice Out Hunger activated pizzerias through our national network when massive rain and flooding from Hurricane Harvey destroyed parts of southeastern Texas in August 2017 and the pizza community pulled together to help those in need. Participating pizzerias featured Texas-themed pies for the month of September and donated $1 per pizza sold to the Houston Food Bank.
