Fighting food insecurity with the power of pizza!
On Sunday, October 23, 2022 300 New Yorkers joined us at Fornino on Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park for a pizza party of epic proportions! The event featured over 30 of NYC’s top pizza makers baking off specialty pizzas available only at this event. We split the day into three 90-minute sessions. Attendees had access to:

🍕home pizza making lessons from Ooni
🍕prizes, music, and MORE!
SESSION 1 @ 12:00 - 1:30pm
SESSION 2 @ 1:45 - 3:15pm
SESSION 3 @ 3:30 - 5:00pm
The $19,741 in event proceeds benefited our hunger-relief projects, most notably our ongoing Pie it Forward project.

Unlike our annual $1 Pizza Party, which highlights pizzas brought in from various pizzerias around NYC, this event featured fresh pizza made on-site in Marra Forni and Ooni ovens. Pizza makers work together — like a big culinary jam session. We rotate pizza makers throughout the event, serving a continuous variety of options for attendees.
